Ambassador Pastor Bill Francis Bill, SA to His Excellency, Senator Governor Prince Otu on Community Communication, has expressed shock and excitement over the successful completion of Phase One of the Oban–Usan Road project by Governor Prince Otu. According to him, the newly constructed road has finally connected Akamkpa 1 and Akamkpa 2 communities together, bringing relief and happiness to the people after many years of suffering and neglect.
Speaking during an interview with the media at the Government House, Pastor Bill Francis Bill stated that since assuming office on 29 May 2023, Governor Prince Otu has worked tirelessly to restore the lost glory of Cross River State through massive infrastructural development. He described the Oban–Usan Road as one of the numerous landmark projects already delivered within two years plus of the administration, adding that the road will greatly help the people transport their goods and services to the city with ease.
Pastor Bill Francis Bill further thanked God for blessing Cross River State with a leader who truly means well for the people. He also commended the Honourable Commissioner for Works Hon Dr Pius for a job well done and declared that the “People’s First Government” is real and not 419. According to him, “Indeed, when the righteous rule, the people rejoice.”
