C'RIVER CAN SEE THE RESULTS: OTU'S OFFICIAL SPOKESMAN REBUKES PDP'S FALSE ALLEGATIONS

The attention of Ambassador Pastor Francis Bill, Official Spokesman to His Excellency, Governor Prince Bassey Otu, has been drawn to recent remarks made by the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sir Arthur Jarvis Archibong, concerning the performance of the present administration in Cross River State.

While the government respects the right of every citizen and political stakeholder to express opinions within the bounds of democratic engagement, it is important that public discourse remains guided by facts and an objective assessment of developments across the state. Since assuming office, Governor Prince Bassey Otu has remained committed to the implementation of his People's First Agenda, with emphasis on infrastructure development, economic revitalization, human capital development, security, healthcare, education, tourism, and rural transformation.

Within the past three years, significant progress has been recorded in various sectors. Road construction and rehabilitation projects have been undertaken across several local government areas, including Calabar South, Calabar Municipality, Akamkpa, Akpabuyo, Odukpani, Biase, Yakurr, Ikom, Obubra, Ogoja, Bekwarra, Boki, and Obanliku. These projects continue to improve connectivity, stimulate economic activities, and enhance the quality of life of residents throughout the state.

In addition to infrastructure development, the administration has implemented programmes aimed at youth and women empowerment, agricultural development, investment promotion, healthcare improvement, and educational advancement. These interventions reflect the government's commitment to inclusive growth and sustainable development while ensuring that the benefits of governance reach communities across the state.

The Government of Cross River State remains focused on service delivery and the welfare of its citizens. Rather than engaging in political distractions, Governor Prince Bassey Otu will continue to concentrate on policies and programmes that promote development, create opportunities, and strengthen public confidence in governance. The administration welcomes constructive criticism and remains committed to transparency, accountability, and the continued progress of Cross River State.

Signed:

Ambassador Pastor Francis  Bill
