By accepting the intervention of His Excellency, the Governor of Cross River State, and ensuring the withdrawal of all pending court cases, they have sent a powerful message that the strength of our party lies in our ability to resolve differences with wisdom and mutual respect.
Equally worthy of commendation is Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, whose appeal for all supporters to unite behind the party’s candidate reflects the true spirit of progressive politics. Democracy flourishes when leaders are willing to make difficult decisions for the greater good.
