The *Senior Special Assistant to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Youth Initiatives, Monitoring and Delivery, Dr. Titilope Gbadamosi* has officially endorsed the *Cross River State Youth Development Summit, Training and Empowerment 2026*.
Dr. Gbadamosi gave the endorsement during an official visit by *Dr. Julius Obanghe Kijuo, KSJI*, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Cross River State on Youth Development.
She commended *His Excellency, Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu* and the *“People’s First” Administration* for prioritizing youth development through this uncommon empowerment initiative that is set to transform the economy and livelihood of young people in Cross River State.
To ensure a seamless, transparent, and inclusive process, the Cross River State Government through the Office of the SSA on Youth Development has rolled out application modalities.
*SKILLS AVAILABLE FOR APPLICATION*
Applicants aged *18 - 40 years* can apply for training in:
- *Digital Skills*: Digital Marketing, Content Creation, Programming, Robotics, Drone Technology, AI
- *Vocational & Technical*: Welding & Fabrication, Entrepreneurship & MSME, Cake Making, Sewing, etc
- *Economy & Agriculture*: Tourism Economy, Green Economy/Renewable Energy, Modern Technology Agriculture
- *Creative Industry*: Indigenous Talent, Movie and Music Production
- *Academic Support*: *1-Year Pre-degree Scholarship* in University
*TRAINING & APPLICATION CENTERS*
1. *Training*: Will take place across the *3 Senatorial Districts* of Cross River State
2. *Form Collection*:
- *Office of the SSA on Youth Development*, Ministry of Youth, Calabar
Training Centers
- *Ikom LGA Council Headquarters* - For Central Senatorial District
- *Ogoja LGA Council Headquarters* - For Northern Senatorial District
and Calabar Municipal.
Forms will be issued in all the 18 LGA Council Headquarters* - For rural applicants without internet access
