Hon. Effiom Ironbar, a Cross River APC senior chieftain, has expressed heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency, Apostle Governor Prince Bassey Edet Otu, for the gift of a brand-new Toyota Camry. During an interview with Ambassador Pastor Bill Francis Bill, Aide to the Governor on Community Communications and President of All Bloggers Worldwide, Hon. Effiom Ironbar thanked the governor for his generosity, describing the car gift as another demonstration of his commitment to touching lives and rewarding people.
Hon. Effiom Ironbar also praised Her Excellency, Bishop Dr. Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, for the positive influence she continues to have on her husband and his administration. According to him, the First Lady is making Governor Otu even sweeter than before through her support, kindness, and commitment to the welfare of the people. He noted that the governor’s generosity, combined with the First Lady’s encouraging presence, continues to strengthen the administration’s People First philosophy.
The APC chieftain appealed to Cross Riverians not to accuse the governor and his wife unfairly, urging the people to recognise and appreciate their efforts. He maintained that Governor Otu remains a generous and compassionate leader who has not abandoned the spirit of giving for which he is known. He encouraged the people to look beyond criticism and acknowledge the positive gestures and empowerment initiatives that have brought joy to beneficiaries across the state.
Hon. Effiom Ironbar further urged Cross Riverians who are yet to receive car gifts or benefit from similar empowerment initiatives to remain patient and continue supporting the governor. He expressed confidence that more people would have opportunities to benefit, stressing that patience, unity, and sustained support are important as the administration continues to pursue its development agenda.
He concluded by thanking Governor Otu once again for the brand-new Toyota Camry, expressing deep gratitude to the governor and the First Lady for their commitment to the people. His message was clear: Governor Otu is doing well, and with the support and positive influence of Her Excellency, Dr. Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, the governor’s generosity is becoming even sweeter.
