I felicitate with Christians in Cross River and across the globe as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ.
I join all Christians in thanking the Almighty God for the gift of Jesus Christ whose birth brought hope and Light to mankind. Christ nativity should remind us that there is no greater gift than love for our fellow citizens, and a life of selfless service, sacrifice, steadfastness, dedication and kindness to one another.
As a people , we must continue to pray for the government of Senator Prince Bassey Otu as he works daily towards shaping and recalibrating our State to a place of pride and hope for all to live and do business.
In this season, I urge everyone to reflect on the ideals of patriotism and oneness for our State and nation. Let this celebration bring us together, rekindle our hope in a new and prosperous Cross River and strengthen our love for People as we continue to advance the frontiers of democracy in line with the People First mandate.
