The Family and friends of Engr Ben Akak on Wednesday joined him for Thanksgiving service at prayer City to thank God for His mercies.
Engr Ben Akak, who was accompanied by his wife Mrs Josephine Ben Akak, was ushered into the presence of enthusiastic guests and well-wishers who came to congratulate him and wish him well.
Chaplain of the prayer City said the special day calls for thanksgiving and prayers to God for giving Engr Ben Akak life and good health.
He said Engr Ben Akak has consistently relied on God and remained humble, compassionate and fair in running his Humanitarians affairs in Cross River State.
While praying God to grant him many more years of good health, divine protection and God’s grace, the Chaplain said Engr Ben Akak will continue to soar higher because of his total dependence on God and ability to carry people along.
Responding, the Chairman of Ben Akak foundation and bengies groups Engr Ben Akak thanked God for his love and mercies saying the grace has been sufficient for him over the years.
He appreciated all who came to celebrate him as well as those who called or sent him messages of goodwill.
