ouse Of Representatives has called on all Cross Riverians within the State and in diaspora to throw genuine support and solidarity on the incumbent Governor Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu at all levels for us to achieve the Cross River State of our collective dream. He made this declaration during the Thanksgiving Service of the Governor in Calabar. Noting that the persistent political intrigues and antecedent malice will never help our politics.
He further declared that our political engineering must be done unanimously to reposition Cross River State nationally. He further affirmed that any form of divisiveness will be to our detriment as a people. Rt. Hon. Etaba maintained that our collective patrimony must be our ultimate priority and as such we must navigate beyond political affiliations to think Cross River.
Ostensibly, Rt. Hon Mike Etaba affirmed that Governor Bassey Edet Otu has the political will and the core competence to work assiduously to reposition Cross River State in the comity of nations with the support of all Cross Riverians. He thanked the people of Cross River State who showcased camaraderie and the requisite solidarity during the Thanksgiving Service and Reception. He used the ample opportunity to wish all Cross Riverians and residents of Cross River State a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in Advance.
