His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Spokesman, Ambassador High Chief Pastor Bill Francis Bill, has applauded the firm position of the President on the fight against insecurity across Nigeria. Speaking in Abuja following President Tinubu's Democracy Day address, Pastor Bill stated that the President has sent a clear and uncompromising message to terrorists, bandits, kidnappers and other criminal elements threatening the peace and unity of the nation: surrender immediately or face the full force of the Nigerian State.
According to Ambassador Pastor Bill Francis Bill, President Tinubu remains committed to securing lives and property, strengthening national security, and ensuring that every Nigerian can live and conduct legitimate business without fear. He noted that the President's warning demonstrates his administration's determination to rid the country of criminal activities and restore lasting peace in all parts of Nigeria. He added that Nigerians should continue to support the President's efforts to build a safer and more secure nation.
Pastor Bill further advised those involved in banditry, kidnapping, terrorism and other violent crimes to abandon their unlawful activities, surrender to the appropriate authorities, and embrace a new path. He strongly condemned the continued shedding of innocent blood and warned that those who profit from violence and insecurity should desist immediately. According to him, President Tinubu is not a leader given to empty promises, but one who is determined to match words with action in the interest of national security and development.
While commending the President's efforts in tackling insecurity, Ambassador Pastor Bill Francis Bill also appealed for continued attention to the welfare of ordinary Nigerians. He urged the Federal Government to intensify measures aimed at reducing economic hardship, lowering the cost of living, and improving the well-being of citizens. He concluded by expressing confidence in President Tinubu's leadership, stating that the administration remains focused on building a safer, stronger and more prosperous Nigeria for present and future generations.
