GOVERNOR OTU DONATES ₦50 MILLION TO SEN. LIYEL IMOKE'S BRIDGE LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION



Ambassador Pastor Bill Francis Bill, Official Spokesman to His Excellency, Governor Bassey Edet Otu, is pleased to announce that Governor Bassey Edet Otu has donated ₦50 million to the Bridge Leadership Foundation, founded by former Governor Senator Liyel Imoke. Speaking during an interview at the Government House, Calabar, Pastor Bill described the donation as another demonstration of Governor Otu’s commitment to leadership development, unity, and peaceful coexistence in Cross River State. He noted that the governor believes in supporting institutions that nurture future leaders and contribute to the development of society.

Pastor Bill further stated that Governor Bassey Edet Otu has continued to maintain cordial relationships with all former governors of Cross River State, irrespective of political party affiliation. According to him, the governor recognizes the contributions of past leaders to the growth of the state and believes that unity, respect, and collaboration are essential for the progress of Cross River. He added that Governor Otu’s inclusive style of leadership has continued to foster peace and strengthen confidence among the people.

Pastor Bill congratulated Governor Bassey Edet Otu for his peaceful, humble, and people-centered leadership, describing him as a governor who places the interest of Cross River State above politics. He prayed for God to continue granting the governor wisdom, strength, and good health as he leads the state to greater heights.
