According to Ambassador Pastor Bill Francis, it has never happened in the history of Cross River State that Permanent Secretaries and senior public servants have been empowered with modern electric vehicles as a way of boosting efficiency and rewarding hard work. He described the initiative as another landmark achievement of the People’s First Governor, stressing that Senator Bassey Otu has consistently demonstrated uncommon leadership and compassion towards workers and citizens alike. He added that the welfare of Cross Riverians remains the number one priority of the administration, with strategic interventions spanning the civil service, transportation, infrastructure, agriculture, healthcare, education and other critical sectors of the economy.
Pastor Bill Francis Bill further stated that Governor Otu’s vision is to build a stronger, more prosperous and technologically advanced Cross River State where every citizen can enjoy the dividends of democracy. He commended the Governor for introducing clean energy transportation and for laying the foundation for a future in which electric mobility will become accessible to more residents of the state. He reaffirmed that the administration of Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu will continue to place the interests of the people above all else, in line with the philosophy of “People First,” which has become the hallmark of the present administration.
