Hon. Cyril James Omini, a workaholic, active humanitarian, and Member representing Yakurr I in the Cross River State House of Assembly, has announced that he will join the House of Representatives candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Abi/Yakurr Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. John Gaul Lebo, on a peace and consultative visit to Idomi Community in Yakurr Local Government Area. The visit follows the consultative timetable released by the APC Yakurr Chapter Chairman and forms part of the party's ongoing grassroots engagement across the federal constituency. It also reflects the APC's commitment to strengthening unity, promoting inclusive governance, and ensuring that every community remains an active partner in the constituency's development.
Beyond political consultation, the visit is a significant peace mission aimed at consolidating the reconciliation and harmony between the people of Ugep and Idomi. Hon. Cyril Omini emphasized that lasting peace remains the foundation for meaningful development, economic growth, and social progress. He reaffirmed that the APC is committed to fostering security, unity, and equal opportunities for all communities while encouraging continuous dialogue, mutual respect, and collective participation in building a stronger and more prosperous Abi/Yakurr Federal Constituency.
Hon. Cyril Omini therefore calls on APC leaders, party faithful, stakeholders, traditional rulers, youths, women, and the good people of Idomi and adjoining communities to come out in large numbers to receive Rt. Hon. John Gaul Lebo and the APC delegation. He expressed confidence that the visit will further deepen the relationship between the party and the people, strengthen the bonds of peace, and advance the shared vision of sustainable development, effective representation, and grassroots-driven leadership.
