From the Desk of Ambassador Pastor Bill Francis Bill, Evidence Campaign Group, undisputed and undiluted Senior Chief Media Consultant, it is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Comrade Icha Godswill as the Director of Student Affairs of the Evidence Campaign Group, Cross River State. The appointment was made by the initiator of the Evidence Campaign Group, Hon. Edem Bassey Otu, in recognition of Comrade Icha Godswill’s commitment, capacity, experience, and long-standing involvement in student and community-oriented engagements. The appointment further reflects the confidence the leadership of the group has placed in his ability to coordinate and effectively represent the interests and concerns of students within the Evidence Campaign Group.
Speaking during an interview at the Government House, Ambassador Pastor Bill Francis Bill described the appointment as a welcome and encouraging development, noting that Comrade Icha Godswill has demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership and service dating back to his university days at the University of Calabar (UNICAL). According to Pastor Bill Francis Bill, Icha has consistently distinguished himself as a strong and dedicated comrade, with the ability to mobilise, organise, communicate, and work with people across different backgrounds. He further stated that Comrade Icha Godswill is the kind of person who, when entrusted with a political responsibility, approaches the assignment with seriousness and determination, adding that his record of engagement gives the leadership confidence in his capacity to deliver on the responsibilities attached to his new office.
Ambassador Pastor Bill Francis Bill congratulated Comrade Icha Godswill on the appointment and urged him to justify the confidence reposed in him by the initiator and leadership of the Evidence Campaign Group. He expressed optimism that the new Director of Student Affairs will bring fresh energy, purposeful engagement, and effective coordination to the student community, while working closely with the leadership of the group to advance its objectives across Cross River State. He therefore called on members of the Evidence Campaign Group, particularly students and young people, to give Comrade Icha Godswill the necessary cooperation and support as he assumes his new responsibility, while wishing him wisdom, strength, and success in the discharge of his duties.
