Nigeria APC Senior Chieftain, High Chief Pastor Bill Francis Bill, has strongly advised the people of Yakurr 1 to remain focused and resolute in their political choice. He urged anyone intending to contest against Hon. Cyril James Omimi, Member representing Yakurr 1 in the House of Assembly, to reconsider their ambitions. According to him, such individuals would be better off investing their resources in productive ventures like poultry farming, cassava cultivation, coconut, cocoa, and palm oil production, rather than engaging in what he called an unnecessary political contest. Pastor Bill Francis Bill stated that Hon. Cyril James Omimi remains the most credible and dependable leader to move Yakurr 1 forward to the promised land.
He further emphasized that Hon. Cyril Omimi has consistently demonstrated true leadership through visible and impactful projects across Yakurr 1. These include the provision of streetlights, Scholarships, Human Empowerment, Employment, facilitation of JAMB opportunities for students, drilling of boreholes, as well as the donation of cars and motorcycles, and the steady delivery of the dividends of democracy without unnecessary burden on the people. He noted that these efforts have significantly improved living standards and strengthened the bond between the representative and his constituents.
He also noted that Hon. Cyril Omimi’s influence and goodwill extend beyond Yakurr 1, reaching across Cross River South, Central, and North Senatorial Districts. Describing him as one of the natural leaders emerging from Cross River Central, Ambassador Pastor Bill Francis Bill affirmed that his leadership style is rooted in service, accessibility, and genuine concern for the people. He made these remarks during an interview with CRBC, NTA, Channels TV, and AIT, reiterating his belief that Hon. Cyril Omimi remains the best choice for sustained progress and development in Yakurr 1.
