Ambassador Pastor Bill Francis Bill, the Official Unintimidated Spokesman to His Excellency, Senator Dr Governor Prince Bassey Otu, has strongly Blasts and condemned the recent statement made by Arthur Jarvis declaring the seat of the sitting Governor of Cross River State vacant ahead of the 2027 governorship election. Reacting to the statement, Amb. Bill. Francis Bill described the declaration as completely baseless, politically motivated, and “dead on arrival,” stressing that Cross Riverians are politically conscious and fully aware of the Governor who has continue to stand with the people through practical leadership and people-oriented governance. According to him, no amount of political propaganda, intimidation, or desperate statements from opposition figures can erase the confidence and overwhelming support Governor Otu currently enjoys across the state.
Pastor Bill Francis Bill further stated that Governor Prince Bassey Otu has continue to prove his commitment to the development of Cross River State through visible achievements and impactful governance across the three senatorial districts. He maintained that the administration has remained focused on delivering the dividends of democracy through massive road construction and rehabilitation projects connecting communities and improving economic activities across the Northern, Central, and Southern Senatorial Districts. He added that Governor Otu’s government has also demonstrated concern for the welfare of elderly citizens and retired civil servants through the payment of gratuities and other long-overdue entitlements abandoned by previous administrations, thereby restoring hope and confidence among retirees and families across the state.
Speaking further, Amb. Bill Francis emphasized that the present administration has continued to create opportunities for youths through empowerment programs, job creation initiatives, and policies aimed at improving the standard of living of ordinary Cross Riverians. He noted that Governor Otu has remained accessible to the people and committed to ensuring peace, unity, development, and economic growth throughout the state. According to him, Cross Riverians already know the Governor who genuinely cares about their welfare and understands the challenges facing the people, adding that Governor Otu’s humility, leadership style, and developmental strides have continued to attract admiration and support from different parts of the state irrespective of political affiliation.
Pastor Bill Francis Bill therefore advised Arthur Jarvis and other opposition figures to embrace constructive politics instead of making careless and provocative statements capable of misleading the public. He insisted that Cross Riverians will not be distracted by political noise from individuals whose ambitions have already failed before takeoff, declaring once again that Ator Jarvis’ political declaration against Governor Otu is “dead on arrival.” He confidently stated that come 2027, the people of Cross River State will overwhelmingly reward Governor Prince Bassey Otu with massive votes across the three senatorial districts in appreciation of his outstanding performance, infrastructural development, commitment to workers and retirees, youth empowerment, and his continued dedication to the progress and stability of the state.
