Ambassador Pastor Bill Francis Bill, the undisputed and undiluted official spokesman to His Excellency, Apostle Governor Prince Otu, Governor of Cross River State, has strongly defended Hon. Emmanuel Ironba, the Chief of Staff, against what he described as false and politically motivated allegations from opposition figures.
Speaking during an interview at the Government House in Cross River State, Pastor Bill dismissed claims that Hon. Emmanuel Ironba controls government appointments, describing the allegation as completely false, baseless, and an attempt to mislead the public and distract the administration.
He further stated that from his personal interactions with Hon. Emmanuel Ironba, which he said occurred two to three times, he has consistently observed a man who is loyal, disciplined, and fully respectful to His Excellency, Governor Prince Otu, adding that all credit and recognition are always directed to the Governor.
He also emphasized that when Governor Prince Otu faced political challenges and many people turned away, Hon. Emmanuel Ironba stood firmly by him, offering unwavering support when it mattered most. According to him, a man who believed in you when nothing was happening cannot abandon you when success arrives, describing Emmanuel Ironba’s loyalty as rare, proven, and one of the strongest in leadership history.
Pastor Bill concluded by urging opposition critics to stop dragging the Chief of Staff into unnecessary political controversies, stressing that Hon. Emmanuel Ironba remains an A1 loyal and focused aide within the administration, while reaffirming that Governor Otu’s government remains united, stable, and committed to delivering good governance in the people-first administration.
