GOVERNOR OTU'S SPECIAL ASSISTANTS FORUM BACKS APC CHAIRMAN RT. HON. CHRIS ETTA, SEEKS STRONGER PARTY UNITY

The Forum of Special Assistants to the Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Apostle Governor Prince Bassey Otu, led by its Chairman, Hon. Terem Igbodo, has reaffirmed its support for the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Christopher Sunny Etta, while calling for greater unity, inclusiveness, and reconciliation within the party. The Forum noted that a united APC remains essential to sustaining the progress recorded by the party and ensuring continued political stability across the state.



During a courtesy visit to the APC State Chairman, the Forum congratulated Rt. Hon. Etta on his emergence and expressed confidence in his ability to provide effective leadership, strengthen party structures, and coordinate party activities across the state. The Forum emphasized the importance of credible party primaries, internal democracy, and a comprehensive reconciliation process capable of bringing all party faithful together under one united APC family for the collective advancement of the party.



The delegation also pledged its readiness to support the party leadership in future campaign activities, particularly in the area of grassroots mobilization and voter engagement. Members noted that Special Assistants remain critical stakeholders in promoting the achievements of the administration of His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, and ensuring that the dividends of good governance are effectively communicated to the people. The Forum further advocated for expanded social investment and empowerment programmes aimed at improving the welfare of youths, women, and vulnerable citizens across the state.



Speaking on behalf of the Forum, Hon. Terem Igbodo reaffirmed the group's unwavering commitment to the success of the APC and the administration of Governor Bassey Otu. He assured the party leadership of the Forum's continued cooperation and dedication to the realization of the government's developmental agenda, while urging members to remain loyal, united, and committed to the ideals of the party at all times.

The delegation concluded the visit by pledging its unalloyed loyalty to the Leader of the APC in Cross River State, His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, and its continued dedication to the progress and development of Cross River State.
