Distinguished Senator Stephen Odey, Commissioner for Education, alongside the Deputy Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. Sylvester Agabi, paid a condolence visit to a former Governor of Cross River State His Excellency Sir Barr. Benedict Benjoushuye Akinshuye Ayade Kjsi Con. following the demise of his beloved brother. The delegation expressed heartfelt condolences to the former Governor and his family, identifying with them in their moment of grief and sorrow. They acknowledged the pain of losing a loved one and encouraged the family to take heart, remain strong, and draw comfort from God during this difficult period.
During the visit, Senator Stephen Odey and Hon. Sylvester Agabi prayed that Almighty God would grant the former Governor Sir Ayade Kjsi Con. and the entire family the fortitude, courage, and strength to bear the loss. They urged the family to trust in God’s unfailing grace and take solace in the cherished memories and legacy of the deceased. They further prayed for divine comfort, peace, and consolation, asking God to strengthen the family, sustain them throughout the mourning period, and grant the departed eternal rest.
