Pastor Bill noted that the protest marked a significant moment in the nation’s democratic journey, as Nigerians were able to make their voices heard while maintaining peace and order. He commended VeryDarkMan for standing up for ordinary Nigerians and for consistently drawing attention to issues affecting the masses. He stressed that peaceful advocacy and constructive criticism remain essential ingredients for good governance and national development.
The South-South spokesman further called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intensify efforts toward addressing the challenges confronting the nation, particularly insecurity, terrorism, kidnappings, and the prevailing economic hardship. He urged the Federal Government to take additional measures aimed at easing the burden on citizens, especially in the areas of rising living costs and fuel prices, noting that Nigerians deserve policies that will bring lasting relief and renewed hope.
He also advised VeryDarkMan and President Tinubu to maintain constructive engagement in the overall interest of national unity and progress. Describing the activist as a voice for many ordinary Nigerians, Pastor Bill expressed confidence that collaboration between government and citizens would help strengthen democracy and promote sustainable development.
